Similar to the D1, is HOG’s D2 Sealed First Stage. It is a high-performance, low-profile, balanced diaphragm regulator, which has simply shrunk a bit in size and weight compared to the D1. The balanced reg design offers a stable breathing performance independent of dive depth.
The environmental seal of this first stage keeps the reg from freezing and contaminants from entering, ensuring a long-lasting performance even in cold or murky waters. In total, you get 2 low pressure ports (one on each side) and 4 low pressure ports, which are also fixed.
With HOG’s D2, you get a reliable, high-quality companion.
